A Tribute To Barbara Cook
As a young boy studying with my wonderful teacher Connie Cox, we would listen to both men’s & women’s voices as examples of how to produce the desired tones without harming your vocal chords. Much later on Barbara Cook’s singing became one of my “go to” vocal encyclopedias.
On my one occasion to sing with her at a performance in the White House I will always remember above all how pretty she was, her kindness to me, and that most heavenly well supported full bodied laugh!
Barbara was glorious.
A Tribute to Glen Campbell
His singing was heartfelt & wonderful, and his guitar playing was a joy to behold – and what a kick it was playing golf with Glen. All we did was hit the ball, laugh at his corny jokes, and sing (all the way round the course).
What a good time we always had, because he always made you feel good.
I loved Glen – We all loved Glen!
