Ahead of the release of \u201cJohnny Mathis Sings
\nThe Great New American Songbook\u201d on Sept. 29th 2017, the GRAMMY Museum welcomes
\nJohnny Mathis, Clive Davis, and very special guest Kenny \u201cBabyface\u201d Edmonds for
\nan intimate conversation and exclusive listening session to songs on the
\nforthcoming album.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Co-produced by 11-time GRAMMY winner Kenny \u201cBabyface" and
\nfive-time GRAMMY winner Clive Davis, \u00a0the new album Johnny Mathis Sings
\nThe Great New American Songbook features the legendary singer’s personal take
\non contemporary hit songs by Pharrell Williams, Adele, Bruno Mars, and others.
\n\u00a0 The evening will be hosted by GRAMMY Museum Executive Director Scott
\nGoldman in the Clive Davis Theater.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

To date, Johnny Mathis has had 3 songs inducted into the Grammy
\nHall of Fame, achieved 50 Hits on Billboard\u2019s Adult Contemporary Chart, and
\nranks as the all-time #6 album artist in the history of Billboard\u2019s pop album
\ncharts. \u00a0He has received 5 Grammy Nominations, and in 2003 he was given
\nthe Lifetime Achievement Award from the Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences.
\n\u00a0He continues to be Columbia Records longest signed recording artist.<\/b><\/p>\n
